A Little About Me
Nice to meet you. My name is Jordan. My Pronouns are she/her/hers.
I’ll start out with a little about me before I get into all the acting/music hubbub.
I am a native New Yorker who fell in love with music and theatre. Go figure. My purpose here is like yours— to help others. My unique tools happen to be my voice, my songwriting, my infectious laugh, my dedication to wellness of self and acceptance of others, my consciousness of spirit, and many more I can’t wait to discover. I’m a vegetarian since I was ten years old after watching a terrible cow farm video and telling my mom “I CAN’T DO IT ANYMORE!” and a vegan of two years. The transition wasn’t as easy as you think… My ice cream addiction held me back. I also have a new baby bunny named Puddles Babaganoush who has been a light in a very dark 2020.
Now to the other stuff…
You may have seen me Off-Broadway as the titular role in SWEETEE the musical, or as the feisty seven year old Alma in FOLK WANDERING by Jaclyn Backhaus. These were my big starts to working in the NYC theatre scene and I am so grateful for them.
The theatre work that brings me the most joy is new pieces. Something about being in the room where all the meticulous questions are asked gets me fired up. In 2021 I will play the role of Kizette in the highly anticipated LEMPICKA. I have had the privilege of acting in many various new pieces at New Dramatists (Composer Librettist Studio, other readings), Ars Nova, Vassar/Powerhouse, Musical Theatre Factory, MTC, The Lark, and more.
As a vocalist I have performed in concerts and cabarets around the city at The Green Room 42, The Cutting Room, The Bowery Ballroom, and more. This has been primarily as a company member or guest artist. Currently I am in the process of writing and producing my debut album, so it is an understatement to say I am excited to finally perform at these venues with my own material and true artistic voice!!
